Excel Kote 95, 98, 102, 105, 108Description: Refined, bleached, hydrogenated, interesterified and deodorized palm kernel oils. Commonly referred to in the food and confection industries as Rearranged PKO Hard Butters. Excel Kotes are quality lauric hard butters, water-like in appearance when melted, and solid at room temperature. Cal Oils can blend an Excel Kote to your specific melting point requirement. Ingredient(s): Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oils, Kosher. Applications: Widely used in the confectionery and baking industries as compound coating fat. This hard butter is solid at room temperature and has a steep melting curve at mouthing temperature. Pura Kote R-30 and R-50 are non-tempering cocoa butter replacers (CBR) derived from fractionated palm kernel oils. As quality lauric hard butters, they are water-like in appearance when melted, solid at room temperature, and have a very sharp melting curve similar to cocoa butter.
