Drum packaging:
- Cal Oils also performs on-site drumming of the following products:

- We can also drum any of our RBD oils upon request, with advance notice and sufficient volume.
- Our drumming production line was designed for, and approved by, our most stringent pharmaceutical customers.
- The system is enclosed in a clean-room, and pressurized with HEPA filtered air.
- Our drums are new, with FDA and Kosher approved epoxy lining, and heavy gauge steel (1.2mm top and bottom, 0.9mm sidewall), and using Tri-Sure© bung closures.
- Tighthead, for liquid oils, and “openhead” for solid oils, both have a two-inch bung, and a 0.75 inch venting bung. “55 gallon” size drums.
- 420 lbs./190 kg. net weight drums for liquid oils.
- 400 lbs./181 kg. net weight drums for hard oils.
- Openhead drums use a sturdy bolt-ring clamp lid to insure a safe lid attachment.
- We perform annual on-site inspections of our drum supplier’s production facilities.
- All drums are sealed with tamper-evident safety seals, on the bung closures and on the bolt ring.
- Each drum is interior light inspected, and nitrogen gas purged before filling with our product.
- IBC/tote packaging can be performed by special request.
