For over four decades Cal Oils has been earning its reputation as the West Coast’s premier source for fresh, locally refined, specialty edible oils.  Although we have been known by different names over the years, each progression has ushered in a new wave of technology and additional expertise: these have reinforced our continued commitment to excellent service. 

Cal Oils has grown into a world class supplier of many specialty vegetable oils. Cal Oils produces, supplies, and packages specialty oils to fit the needs of selected markets.  Our specialty oils are most frequently used in cooking, frying, salad oils, baking, candy and cookie coatings, and as confectionery ingredients; also for infant food formulas, nutritional drinks, and even intravenous supplements.  In addition, many of our oils have special industrial usages, such as specialty paints and coatings, chemical fatty acid splitting, lubrication, chemical compounding, soapmaking, and personal care products.

Cal Oils is the largest edible oil refining plant in the west coast of the United States.  We store, refine and ship both domestically and internationally in excess of 100,000 metric tonnes of specialty oils each year.  Our customer/client list includes many of the world’s largest food and processing companies.  We also service medium and small domestic and international oil processors and packagers specializing in geographic micro-markets.
